A wide range of preparations are constructed from tender jackfruit throughout India. Often called Kathal in Hindi, I’ve used the uncooked or tender type of jackfruit to organize a easy stir-fry which is named Kadge Upkari in my mom tongue Konkani.
Substances:
500 gms of deskinned tender jackfruit
5 dry pink chillies
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
Salt.
Methodology:
Minimize the tender jackfruit into skinny slices of chunk sized items. Warmth oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and after they splutter drop within the pink chilly bits. Toss. Add the tender jackfruit items, salt and a glass of water. Carry to a boil, decrease warmth completely, cowl and cook dinner until accomplished. Serve sizzling with dal and rice.
