
A easy, straightforward to make and scrumptious preparation of rice which when accompanied by a raita tastes divine! I had a great deal of spring onion greens left over so have tried my greatest to make use of them up in a wide range of dishes.
Substances:
250 gms Basmati rice
5 tbsps Ghee
2 inch piece cinnamon
5 cloves
3 cardamom
1 tsp cumin seeds
One bunch finely chopped spring onion greens
Salt
500 ml water.
Methodology:
Warmth the ghee in a stress cooker. Crush the cardamom, cinnamon and cloves frivolously and tip them into the recent ghee. Add the spring onion greens and saute for a couple of seconds. Drop in 500 ml boiling water, rice and salt. Cowl and stress cook dinner to at least one whistle. Enable to chill. Open the lid and gently fork the rice. Serve scorching with raita and papad.
