Carrot Thoran Recipe
Substances
- Coconut Oil- 1 tbsp
- Mustard seeds- 1 tsp
- Entire dried pink chilies- 2
- Curry leaves- 1 sprig
- Carrot, chopped small- 2
- Salt- 1 tsp
- Chili powder- ½ tsp
- Turmeric powder- ¼ tsp
- Grated coconut- 1/2 cup
Preparation
- To a sizzling pan, add oil, let flip sizzling.
- Add mustard seeds, let splutter.
- Add dried complete pink chilies & curry leaves, saute for just a few seconds.
- Add the carrot, season with salt & mix properly.
- Add 1/2 cup water & cook dinner lined until carrot has turned mushy.
- After carrot has cooked properly, add chili powder, turmeric powder and grated coconut.
- Saute for a couple of minutes until coconut turns golden in colour.
- This can be a dry dish.
- Take the pan off the warmth & hold it lined.

I’ve added chili powder, turmeric powder & salt to the fish, let marinate for quarter-hour. Fry in coconut oil, add some curry leaves whereas frying.
