The local weather is slowly altering. Together with it comes diseases. Everyone round me simply appear to have one thing or the opposite. Waking up within the morning with a transparent head shouldn’t be one thing that everybody is blessed with. Both the nostril is clogged or the top is heavy. Although I like the upcoming climate, I’m solely anxious about the way it begins a bit pandemic in its wake. However let me be constructive –  I need the local weather to get cooler and calmer. I’m additionally trying ahead to having all of the goodness of this climate – the seashore, the barbeque, the parks, the lengthy drives, In Sha Allah…

In the meantime, I acquired again to working starting of final month, after a break of greater than a 12 months. I hope that I will survive and keep there to show myself. I’ve been having a combined thought technique of going again to work – one aspect of mine would like to be dwelling, relaxed and never harassed in regards to the visitors, payments and all. However the different aspect of me desires to work, contribute and be productive, with out lazing at dwelling. However certainly, I wish to be unbiased in just a few years, sufficient to be at dwelling and never working round. My religion is within the One who offers all our sustenance… 🙂

Whereas making an attempt to determine what to put up from my little or no drafts, I picked up what was apt for this local weather – this kozhi rasam or rooster tangy soup that is sort of a hug on a heat day… I didn’t know whether or not to place this as a curry or soup, so I put it beneath each. Hehe… I’ve all the time recognized solely the rasam that umma makes, that once I realized there are rasams made with rooster and meat, it type of stunned me. However in the event you actually look into it, it’s a good tangy and spicy watered-down soup with small items of rooster in it. I used rooster with bone, as a result of that’s the place all of the flavors are. However to ensure that it cooks simply, it’s best to get your butcher to chop them into actually small items or one other approach is to make use of rooster bones, in the event you don’t need an excessive amount of meat in your soup.
