Bread fruit or Jeev Kadgi as it’s referred to as in my mom tongue Konkani , is utilized in a wide range of preparations.  Easy stir fries, coconut based mostly preparations, spicy and tangy curries and in addition fritters are made that are completely scrumptious. Components:

500 gms of Bread fruit

2 massive onions sliced lengthwise

2 inch piece of ginger grated

6 roasted Byadgi chillies

6 roasted Guntur chillies

1 tbsp tamarind paste

Salt

3 tbsps coconut oil.

Technique:

De pores and skin the bread fruit. Slice into chunk sized items. Wash and maintain apart. Grind  the coconut, roasted crimson chillies and tamarind to a easy paste with sufficient water as required. Hold apart. Tip the sliced onions, grated ginger , sliced inexperienced chilly and two glasses of water right into a pan. Add salt and produce it to a boil.
